Meet Doug
Doug Amlung, owner and president of Amlung Construction, was born and raised in Louisville, KY. He attended St. Xavier High School and later graduated from Bellarmine University with a degree in accounting.
Soon after he finished his education, Doug quickly pursued opening his own business. He initially started with a painting company and later moved into the realm of construction. Today, Amlung Construction has a reputation for offering superior-quality construction services.
Doug is married and has two sons. Their oldest son, Lee Amlung, joined the business in May 2018 after graduating from Western Kentucky University with a degree in construction management. Lee only recently joined the business full-time but has spent previous summers and college breaks working for the family business. Their youngest son, Clay Amlung, attends the University of Cincinnati and is on the golf team.
